Full of Thanks

on this day dedicated to stuffing ourselves silly, we all need to remember what we are thankful for and give thanks to heavenly father who has given us so much. i am thankful for: the gospel in my life. my eternal companion. family scripture study everyday followed by family prayer. the holy ghost to lead me and guide me every day. my callings in the church and the opportunities they give me to serve. alexis and the wonderful big sister she is. caprice and her sweet silly spirit. ariana who always says i love you very much every night. for the wonderful family that i am now a part of and the love they show me and my girls. living in az where it is warm all year long. friends. family near and far. trials. for a savior that loves me. learning new things.

New Moon Birthday Bash

my crazy, vampire loving little girl wanted to have a new moon birthday party in honor of it's release in a few days. with a quick email to her super crafty aunt jacque, we had a personal invite in no time! thank you j! don't you just love the bleeding heart?! ariana did!

aside from the invite being a hit, the party was a total blast! we had fun games like pin the fangs on the vampire (ariana's new edward poster), cake walk to the soundtrack of twilight, water balloon toss to see who could move graceful like edward and be just as gentle. i know it sounds corny but the girls loved it! and although vampires don't eat, we took a break to have pizza and cupcakes.

i still can't believe my baby is seven (almost..her birthday is the 25th)! i must still be in denial, she had to remind me to put on the 7th candle. lol!

just over two weeks ago my sister and her husband celebrated their one year anniversary. i couldn't be happier for them! i love her so much and have always wanted her to find her perfect match - she has found that in spencer.

the modern first anniversary gift is a clock....

so i made them one!
