It Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

last weekend we headed up north to visit my mom and hopefully play in some snow. while it was plenty cold, we missed the snow by a couple days.
all dressed up cute for the ward leadership party.
it's not christmas without the beautiful temple lights. the girls loved having their own cups of hot cocoa to keep warm with.

my all time favorite christmas song has to be "mary did you know?"
mary was chosen to be the mother to our savior jesus christ. when she held the baby jesus, could she see and know all that he would do for us?

i know that jesus came to this earth as our savior and redeemer. the church of jesus christ of latter day saints is the only true church upon the face of the earth. joseph smith did indeed see what he said he saw and was chosen to bring forth the gospel to this dispensation of time. the book of mormon is the true word of god. this christmas season i hope that we will all remember our savior and the perfect life that he gave for all of our behalves. i am thankful for that wonderful gift every day. i leave this with you in the name of jesus christ, amen.

i love this time of year. decorating the tree! baking christmas treats! hot cocoa! wrapping presents! christmas movies! reading t'was the night before christmas more than just once! and christmas music! each day until christmas i will post one of my favorite christmas songs. there are more than just 24 but that's all the days i have left. to start off i have chosen an entire soundtrack! the forgotten carols really bring the spirit of christmas to your heart. if you haven't heard of them or seen the play, i strongly encourage you to do so.
