i think this was my favorite temple. it's so different and beautiful.

we made it safely home.
i am grateful for temples on the earth today. i know that i can be with my family forever if i live worthily. i know my savior lives. i know i am a daughter of god. i am thankful for the gospel in my life and for the opportunity i have to share it with my children. i am thankful for this trip and for the spirit we were able to feel as we visited so many temples. in the name of jesus christ, amen.

Spring Break - Day 5

yesterday, like i said, we didn't get to tour everything so we came back for round two. jay and i came down earlier in the morning to attend a session at the salt lake temple. amazing! what an uplifting experience! the girls were with michael and miranda and we met up with them all at the church history museum. ariana was collecting eggs. it reminded her of grandma roleen's chickens back in albuquerque.
ariana and laney climbed aboard nephi's ship to do some fishing.
caprice was ready to feed the missionaries.
jay helped chloe and alexis to build a temple.
jay and ariana even tried to learn some latin-american dances and dressed the part!
from there we went to the lion house, brigham young's mansion residence. the mansion has been beautifully restored and serves as a museum offering tours showing what life was like for the young family back in 1855. (sorry for the lack of pictures) with all the rain, we called it a day and went to see our friends....and their sweet new baby! adelaide is adorable! i wish she liked me more! lol it was good to catch up with our friends, we miss them so!
